The findings of the study showed that 43.99 per cent of surveyed children have access to smartphones and another 43.99 per cent of scholars have access to basic phones while 12.02 per cent don't have access to either smartphones or basic phones.

A total of 56.01 per cent children were found to possess no access to smartphones, the study said.

“Concerning television, it had been noted that while 68.99 per cent have access to TV, a serious chunk of 31.01 per cent doesn't . Hence suggesting that using smartphone interventions for enhancing learning outcomes isn't the sole solution,” it said.

Everything from board meetings to grocery shopping are now being conducted online via laptops or smartphones, exposing our heavy dependency on stable internet availability like never before.


Considering these massive shifts within the established order , it's clear that technology—especially the Internet—has been central to our evolution and adaptableness within the COVID-19 era. However, it's public knowledge that a tech-driven transformation was underway long before the pandemic hit us.


The COVID-19 Impact: Causing Ripples within the e-Learning Ecosphere

While we've established that the web education sector was rapidly growing even before the COVID-19 pandemic, it's safe to mention that the contagion has accelerated this growth at an unimaginable rate. Through online learning, being physically present in classrooms has given thanks to innovative new methods of education. As students refrain from being physically present within the same room as their teachers and classmates, online education is inevitably the sole way of learning during this age of quarantines and social distancing.


Educational institutes across the planet have closed thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic jeopardizing the tutorial calendars. Most educational institutes have shifted to online learning platforms to stay the tutorial activities going. However, the questions on the preparedness, designing and effectiveness of e-learning remains not clearly understood, particularly for a developing country like India, where the technical constraints like suitability of devices and bandwidth availability poses a significant challenge. during this study, we specialise in understanding Agricultural Student’s perception and preference towards the web learning through a web survey of 307 students. We also explored the student’s preferences for various attributes of online classes, which can be helpful to style effective online learning environment. The results indicated that majority of the respondents (70%) are able to choose online classes to manage the curriculum during this pandemic. Majority of the scholars preferred to use smart phone for online learning. Using content analysis, we found that students prefer recorded classes with quiz at the top of every class to enhance the effectiveness of learning. the scholars opined that flexibility and convenience of online classes makes it attractive option, whereas broadband connectivity issues in rural areas makes it a challenge for college kids to form use of online learning initiatives.


India is facing with pandemic of ‘Coronavirus disease -2019’ (COVID-19). within the absence of proper medicine and vaccine for the treatment of COVID-19, the govt of India has imposed the country lockdown from 25 March 2020 to avoid chain /community transmission of coronavirus in human. Consequently, the tutorial institutes were also closed during the lockdown period and traditional class room teaching switched to online teaching in India to compensate the tutorial losses.


Aims: this text aims to live the impact of online teaching on education also because the health of the scholars .


The top 100 universities within the country were permitted to start out online courses in May, without the necessity to hunt approval from education regulators. States like Karnataka announced their own policies to form online education accessible.


However, challenges remain. Online education has not only changed how students are learning, but has also significantly altered the methods deployed by teachers and fogeys .

But most Americans (59 percent) believe that in-person education and training is more highly valued by employers than online training -- a stimulating result, as long as employers wouldn’t necessarily know that a credential was completed online unless disclosed by the work candidate. And in recent years an increasing number of major employers have supported workers in obtaining part-time online degrees with subsidized tuition programs.



Preference for online education varied among different demographic groups. People aged 25 to 49 expressed greater enthusiasm for online-only options than people aged 18 to 24, or 50 or older. Black Americans also looked more favorably on online education than Asian, white or Latino respondents, and that they had the foremost confidence in its quality.


“I can easily see how some Black people would like the choice of learning from the comfort of their homes, as against sitting physically in classrooms where they're the sole or among just a couple of students who are Black,” said Shaun Harper, a professor and executive of the University of Southern California Race and Equity Center.

Corona bombs have exploded in Gujarat. For the first time in the state, 1515 cases have been reported in a single day and the situation is still deteriorating. In the last 24 hours, 9 deaths and 1271 patients have recovered and gone home in the state. With this, the total number of cases so far has reached 1 lakh 95 thousand 917. While the death toll has risen to 3846. So far a total of 1 lakh 78 thousand 786 patients have been discharged. There are currently 13285 active cases in the state. Of which 95 are on ventilator and 13190 patients are stable.


Given the worsening situation in Gujarat, the curfew in Ahmedabad is likely to be extended. The government had said on Friday that the next decision would be taken after considering Corona's condition. The government may now extend the curfew as the case escalates. There is also the possibility that the night may impose additional restrictions in addition to the curfew. It includes a relaxation option from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. In addition, strict rules may apply to the container zone. However, no official announcement has been made by the government yet.


Corona's condition in the state is getting worse day by day. Gradually the Corona figure now crossed 1400. However, now that the Corona is slowly coming under control, the numbers are dwindling and at one point the cases are falling below 1,000. However, Diwali saw a sudden surge in the number of cases. Today 1515 new corona patients were registered in the state. 1271 new patients have recovered and returned home in the state. A total of 1,78,786 patients have recovered so far.

The recovery rate of patients in the state has reached 91.26 per cent. The government is also claiming that the number of tests in the state is increasing day by day. A total of 70,388 tests were conducted in the state today. Which is 1028.89 per million per day according to the population of the state. A total of 71,71,44 tests have been conducted in the state so far


Corona has erupted in the state after Diwali. The number of corona infected patients is steadily increasing. The highest number of 1515 new cases of Covid-19 was reported in the last 24 hours. While with the death of 9 more people the total death toll from Corona has reached 3846.


There are currently 13285 active cases in the state, while a total of 178786 people have been discharged. The state currently has 95 patients on ventilator and 13190 people stable. The total number of infected people in the state has reached 1,95,917.

A total of 9 people were found dead in Ahmedabad Corporation, 2 in Surat Corporation, 1 in Gir Somnath-1 and 1 in Rajkot Corporation in the state today.

Ahmedabad Corporation 354 Surat Corporation 211, Vadodara Corporation 125, Rajkot Corporation 89, Banaskantha-55, Gandhinagar Corporation 53, Mehsana 53, Patan-51, Surat-51, Rajkot-48, Vadodara-39, Gandhinagar-36, Kutch-30, 19 cases were reported in Amreli-24, Panchmahal-23, Jamnagar Corporation-21, Jamnagar-20, Kheda-20 and Ahmedabad.


How many patients have recovered today

A total of 1271 patients were cured and 70,388 tests were performed in the state today. With this, 71,71,445 tests have been conducted in the state so far. The recovery rate in the state is 91.26 per cent.

To date, 4,86,806 persons have been quarantined in different districts of the state, out of which 4,86,712 persons are home quarantine and 94 persons have been placed in facility quarantine.
